“Letting Go“
This long take was a collaborative effort, but I worked as the cinematographer on the short film. I storyboarded the take and worked with the director to adjust our vision on site.

I highly recommend not filming on days where the windchill is in the twenties, unless gorgeous weather renders it absolutely necessary.

There are pronounced differences between the storyboard and the final product. Due to a location change, we changed the order of some of the planned sequences.
During rehearsals, we encountered physical limitations that demanded further changes in the camerawork. What could have been a stressful experience was truly an exciting opportunity to come up with solutions on a time limit.
